为落实《广东省中长期教育改革发展规划纲要》，实施教育部《留学中国计划》，吸引和鼓励更多优秀外国学生来广东学习，广东省政府特设立“广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金”。我校对此项工作高度重视，公平、公正、公开地遴选推荐候选人。

1、         对象：我校在读的优秀本科及硕士外国留学生，不包括2014年入学的新生。

2、         要求：

（1） 在校期间遵守中国法律、法规和学校规章制度

（2）  品学兼优，出勤记录良好，当年度必修课程良好以上

（3）  未获2014/15学年中国政府或其他类别奖学金

3、         奖励金额：

（1）  本科生：人民币10000元/人

（2）  硕士生：人民币20000元/人

4、         申请程序：

（1）申请人下载申请表（见附件）并填写所有相关内容，提供成绩单；

（2）7月30日之前将申请资料交到北校区七教留学生教育院102室或通过电子邮件发送到iie@gdufs.edu.cn。过期将被视为自动放弃申请资格；

（3）我校广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金评审领导小组将对申请资料进行评审。候选人名单将在留学生教育学院网站公示五日；

（4）候选人名单报广东省教育厅终审；

（5）公布获得奖学金者名单。

Guangdong Government Outstanding student scholarship

The Guangdong Province Government has established the “2014/2015 G Guangdong Government Outstanding student scholarship”. This award is used for subsidizing the international degree students with excellent performance.

GDUFS attaches much importance to this scholarship and is making sure that selecting scholarship candidates is under a just, fair and open process.

The relevant information is as follows:

1.     Candidates: undergraduate degree students and master degree students who are studying in our university ( freshmen are not included ).

2.  Requirements:

(1)Abide by Chinese law, regulations as well as university and school rules;

(2)Be excellent in both learning and character, with a high attendance rate, obtaining a good grade in every required course;

(3)Have not obtained any other scholarships in 2014/2015 academic year.

3.  Scholarship:

(1) Bachelor degree student: RMB 10000/person

(2) Master degree student: RMB 20000/ person

4.  Application Procedures:

(1)Download the “Scholarship Application Form” (see attachment) and fill it

     out completely;

(2)Submit the completed “Scholarship Application Form” with the transcript to the Office102 or send the application documents to iie@gdufs.edu.cn before July 30, 2014. Failure to apply for it before the deadline will be regarded as declining the opportunity ;

(3)Evaluations will be made by the Guangdong Government Outstanding student scholarship Assessment Committee of GDUFS and the list of candidates will be announced;

(4)Department of Education of Guangdong Province makes the final decision;

(5)The GDUFS Institute for International Education announces the list of

     students winning the scholarship awards.
