我校是具有接收中国政府奖学金来华留学生资格的院校。

现国家留学基金委设立“2013/2014学年优秀自费来华留学生奖学金”，用于资助优秀的自费来华留学生。我院对此项工作高度重视，现公平、公正、公开地遴选推荐候选人。

相关信息如下：

1、         名额：8个。

2、         对象：在读学历留学生，包括本科、硕士、博士，一年级（本科）及毕业班除外。

3、         要求：

（1） 在校期间遵守中国法律、法规和学校规章制度；

（2）  品学兼优；

（3）  出勤率不低于90%；

（4）  未获中国政府及广外大其他各类奖学金；

（5）  有经济困难者可优先考虑。

4、         奖励金额：每人7000元人民币。

5、         程序：

（1）下载申请表（见附件）并完整填写相关内容；

（2）5月20日之前将奖学金申请表及《广东外语外贸大学学业成绩表》（加所

在学院公章）交到北校区七教留学生教育学院102办公室。

过期将被视为自动放弃申请资格；

（3）留学生教育学院评审并公示候选人名单；

（4）通知候选人网上登记信息；

（5）报国家留学基金委审定；

（6）公布获得奖学金者名单。

CSC Excellent Self-Supporting International Student Scholarship

We are one of the receiving institutions for Chinese Government Scholarship

(CSC) Students.

The China Scholarship Council has established the “2013/2014Excellent

Self-Supporting International Students Scholarship”. This award is used for subsidizing the studies of self-supporting international students with excellent records.

Our institute pays great attention to the purpose of this award and selects scholarship candidates via an open process.

The relevant information is as follows:

1、Number of scholarships: 8

2、For undergraduate degree students: Grade 2 and Grade 3 and for Masters and PhD

candidates: except the last year.

3、Requirements:

（1）     Abide by Chinese law, regulations as well as university and school rules;

（2）     Be excellent in both learning and character;

（3）     Average attendance rate must not be less than 90%;

（4）     Have not obtained any other scholarships offered by the Chinese government

or the GDUFS;

（5）     Applicants with economic difficulties will be given priority.

4、Scholarship award amount: RMB 7000/person

5、Procedures:

（1）Download the “Scholarship Application Form” (see attachment) and fill it

     out completely;

（2）Submit the completed “Scholarship Application Form” and a complete

     transcript with the stamp of your school before May 20. Failure to apply for it

before the deadline will be regarded as declining the opportunity ;

（3）Evaluations will be made by the GDUFS Institute for International Education and the list of candidates will be announced;

（4）The candidates then do the CSC on-line application;

（5）CSC makes the final decision;

（6）The GDUFS Institute for International Education publicizes the list of

     students winning the scholarship awards.
